What kind of rental bikes do you offer?
The type of bikes that we offer at Biciz are 29”-27.5″ & 26” Fat Bikes and Mountain Bikes mountain, aluminum (size 3x10v and 2x10v) prepared for all type of terrain and roads. Do you have bikes of different sizes?
Different sizes of our bike models are available to adjust to your height and weight.
Can I wear shoes with cleats?
In case you bring your own footwear for the bicycle and you need SPD pedals, we can offer those with no extra cost.
Can I bring my own bicycle?
Yes. We would be delighted if you do. However, we will check your bike to verify that it complies with the necessary safety measures for the route.
What type of equipment is included with my reservation?
The equipment that is included as follows: Helmet, gloves, knee pads, elbow pads and repair kit.
What clothes should I wear?
It is advisable to wear sporty and breathable clothing, especially summer and winter sportswear (shorts and jersey). Depending on the season, sports shoes with rigid sole, sunglasses and sun protection cream.
If you prefer not to bring cycling clothes you can also do most routes without problems although it is recommended at least a the shorts.
Is it very cold in that area?
When evaluating if wearing warm clothes, take into account that it is unlikely that temperatures fall below 10 degrees (Celsius) in this area in the Winter. In Spring, Summer and Autum, jersey and shorts are recommended.
How do you measure the level of difficulty of the routes?
In any of the routes that we offer, we adapt to the physical condition of our clients.
The level of difficulty in any of our routes is indicated as follows:
-Easy Level: Routes covering distances between 6km and 20km. Flat and easy terrain. Easy access.
-Middle Level: Routes covering distances between 20km to 50km. Low-medium rough terrain with few technical areas and very few areas with difficult access.
-High Level: Routes covering distances between 50km to 80km. Medium-high difficult rough terrain. Lots of technical and difficult access areas where a considerable bicycle technique is required.
What happens if there are several people with different levels in a group?
The great majority of our routes are for easy level. Most of the routes start from a base in height and we descend to a plain. When we receive your reservation, we will gather information about your physical condition. We will recommend the route that best suits you. If we go out in a group with more people, you will always have the option to avoid the slopes in our way back, by asking our van service to pick you up.
Do we need to bring our own food?
Our company will take care of the food and drinks. We will give you a bottle of water or juice, a piece of fruit (banana or apple) and a sandwich.
We will also have the the chance to stop in stores located in different points of our route, where we can taste the famous and varied gastronomy of this area.
Is the tour made for us alone?
Our tours are semi-private and you may have someone else joining the day tour. Do not worry anyway as we always work with small groups.
Can you choose any day to take a tour?
If the tour is hired by at least two people you can choose the day. In case of just a single person, he/she will have to join another group when available.
Where is the starting point? Do you pick us up at the hotel?
The starting point is different depending on the chosen tour. Normally, our tours start from our bike store located in Vejer de la Frontera.
Depending on the number of the people in your group hiring a tour, we can offer you hotel pick up service.
Do we need to pay in advance?
It is not necessary, once reserved by mail or telephone we will take the information required and the reservation will be made. Payment can be made in cash at the store the same day the tour takes place. If you prefer to block your tours in advance, you can pay by credit card in advance before your arrival.
Can you book the same day?
No. You need to inform us in advance so we can make sure we have enough bikes and guide available for that date.
Where are the rental Villas in Vejer de la Frontera?
The Villas are semi-detached chalets located in the residential area of Vejer de la Frontera called, La Noria. These villas have all the services of the holiday rental home.
