Our bike tour starts from La Barca de Vejer. This place is 5 kms far from Vejer town center. This will be a circular circuit in which we will be able to watch sedentary and migratory birds, standing out the Ibis Hermit Species (in Extinction).
We start this trail riding through the sandy paths of Angostura through a beautiful pine forest. Once we get to El Soto, a small village near Vejer, matbe we are able to see running wild deer and rabbits and contemplate stunnning panoramic views of Vejer.
We will access the interior of the Dehesa de Montenmedio. Get ready to enjoy a peaceful and harmonious nature reserve. Here we will visit the NMAC (Museum of Contemporary Art). This a unique space in Spain conceived as a mediating museum, committed to supporting contemporary artists on specific projects that promote dialogue and understanding of society and nature through art.
We return to the trail through the sand quarry bordering part of the Barbate river. We will come back to the starting point.
Price includes: Lunch Box, Mountain Bike, transportation, protections (helmet, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads) and experienced guides.
This tour covers a distance of about 15 km and it lasts about 3 hours with several stops. We will come back by car.
The difficulty will depend on how fit you are. We can choose different routes to reach the points described in the tour.
