This route runs through the natural park of the Strait of Gibraltar.
We starts close to the tower of Guzman el Bueno, near the village of Tarifa. We will cycle heading the Tower of Guadamecí. Most of the route runs parallel to the cliffs, surrounded by stunning views of the African continent through the strait of Gibraltar (where the distance between the European continent and the Africa is just 14 kms).
Along the way we will see many bunkers on the coastline. This bunkers were used by general Franco to protect its borders.
Right on the sea shore, we will find some rocky coastal formations called rasa mareal or rasa littoral. This formations have a natural beauty produced by the waves.
Next stop will take us to the tower of Guadameci. This tower was built in 1588 in a small corner of the bay overlooking the Strait. This is well-preserved medieval tower which is located on an immediate mound near the river of the same name. It is one of the many watchtowers on the coast Established in the Fifteenth, Sixteenth, and Seventeenth centuries to defend the coast against.
The price includes: Box lunch, fatbike, transport, protections (helmet, gloves, knee pads and elbow pads) and experienced guides.
This tour covers a distance of about 18km. and it lasts about 3-4 hours (including stops).
